Adopt a Cat
We rescue cats and kittens, and take in strays and surrendered animals on occasion, finding kind and loving homes for them after foster care and getting them proper medical treatment/tests. Our goal is not just to move cats to homes, but to find the right match for humans and felines, so harmony and enrichment is achieved for all!
Our cats are fostered in our homes, ‘under foot’, with lots of love, attention, and activity. We get to know their personalities well, so can make appropriate recommendations for a good fit for cat and new home. All of our cats and kittens receive full medical care from our supporting veterinarians and are
  • Spayed or neutered
  • Tested for FeLV/FIV
  • Given age appropriate vaccines
  • De-wormed
  • Treated for any parasites
  • Microchipped
  • Given a 30 day Sheltercare Accident and Injury policy

Our adoption fee is $150 for kittens and exotic breeds. $100 for cats older than one year.

Kittens under 6 months of age are adopted in pairs, with their mom cat, or into a home with another young or active cat. (This helps the kittens socialize, preventing unwanted behaviors like scratching and biting.)
Our adoption process:
  1. Fill out an application – request one by e-mail or download from below then fax or mail it to us (see contact page).
  2. Once received, it takes 2-6 days to process – we are all volunteer, but we do try to process promptly!
  3. If approved, you can meet cats and kittens either at foster homes, or at Meow Mixers.
  4. Once picked, all cats will see our vet one more time for a health certificate.
  5. On adoption day, you will sign a contract promising to provide veterinary care, love, food and shelter. You also agree that should you need to re-home your adoptee but cannot find a good home, that you will return him or her to us.
